Jamey Price

Jamey Price is an award winning motorsport photojournalist based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Primarily focusing on the sporting world, and in particular motorsports, Jamey has covered a diverse range of competitions and events around the world from the Kentucky Derby and the NFL to the 24 hours of Le Mans, NHRA drag racing, MotoGP, NASCAR, Indycar, and the fast paced world of Formula 1.

Jamey’s love for sport came from being an athlete himself. While attending Centre College and studying for a History and International Studies degree, he competed as a collegiate swimmer and most notably rode as a steeplechase horse racing jockey, riding more than 50 races, and winning 11 times between 2005 and 2012. Jamey’s passion for horses led him to England where he lived and worked within the horse racing community during 2010 and eventually published a book titled “Chasing”. Though his love of horses remains unchanged, Jamey has always been profoundly curious and passionate about motor racing and it’s many forms.

Jamey currently serves as the primary photographer for Lamborghini in North America, and has served as the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series photographer since 2013. His work has been published around the globe by magazines such as Top Gear, Car & Driver, Road & Track, RACER, Autosport, F1 Racing, Motorsport, F1i, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Southern living, QC Exclusive, and many newspapers including the Washington Post and the Charlotte Observer.

While chasing race cars, Jamey continues to do freelance work for some of the most respected sports imagery wire services, and for commercial clients including Ducati, Audi, Lamborghini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Red Bull, Aston Martin Racing, Force India F1 Team, Renault F1 team and Manor Racing F1 team.

Though it can be grueling work, Jamey is extremely passionate about his work in car racing and still very much in love with the sport and it’s fire suit clad athletes and the ability to share images of races with race fans around the world.
